Bishop E.C. McKinley is the Presiding Bishop of the Church of God of Prophecy in Tennessee. In addition to these responsibilities, he serves as a member of the International Administrative Committee, Corporate Board of Directors of the Church of God of Prophecy, International and as a member of the International Offices Ministerial Review Board.
In addition to these duties to the International church, Bishop McKinley is a member of the White Wing Publishing House doctrinal review committee for publications. He is a regular contributor to the White Wing Messenger and has written for International (foreign languages) White Wing Messenger.
He served in the role of Senior Pastor for 15 years prior to being appointed a State Bishop in our church. His pastorates included the local church at Vincennes, Indiana and the Kingsport and Columbia churches in Tennessee.
During his pastoral tenure, Bishop McKinley was a prolific writer, published by several magazines, and is the author of the book Pulling Them From The Fire, and was the was the principle speaker on the daily radio program, The Voice of Hope.
He served as State Bishop of the Northwest Region (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, USA) from 1998 to 2002. He also served the Mid America Region (Arkansas, Oklahoma, USA) from 2002 to 2004 and has served as the State Bishop in Tennessee from August 2004 to present. Dr. McKinley holds degrees in Accounting, Theology and Christian Education.
